about 15 yrs ago when i was a gason,i had a boss that was part of a syndicate that had a horse with  w.mullins.the horse was no good but willie promised them he would find a race that he would win and the syndicate could recoup some of the  training expenses.after 2 years they were told  to be patient .a year later a majority of the syndicate had enough and a spokesman for them relayed their views to willie in no uncertain terms.mullins said ok and told him to sell the horse.that was it.in the final analysis my bosses  view with an ironic chuckle was "we were conned"!

Of course my argument is nonsense, or is it your argument is defined by media hype and sycophancy?, listen to the same old sh!t been bombarded off the inside of your head and good chance black becomes white.

A Welsh sheep farmer won a Gold Cup with 3 horses in training, a farmer from County Carlow turned an ugly duckling into a swan, and those Bowes who farm for a living somehow unearthed horses like Limestone Lad and Solerina who ran rings around the so called training professionals, work them hard run them hard.

Peter Casey and Flemenstar who travelled much the best horse in the Lexus is not finished yet.

Of course I'm talking nonsense, yet a sheep farmer from Wales won a Gold Cup, a farmer from Carlow turned an ugly duckling into a Swan, and those Bowes somehow won a host of graded races with Limestone Lad and Solerina, work them hard run them often while the cotton wool was doing overtime with the so called super trainers, and poor old Peter Casey somehow managed to get his hands on a horse called Flemenstar, now I don't know about you but I thought he was by far the best horse in the Lexus, better ground and he might well have lasted home?, not a Gold Cup horse but Flemenstar can still mop up a host of graded races and his trainer will never be considered a genius?.

Listen to media hype and sycophancy often enough and you start to believe black is white, like me or lump me my opinions are not clouded by sentiment, I still love my horse racing, but it never ever will be the humams who gets my sentiment, sick to the teeth of been treated like a piece of dirt and railroaded by an incestous regulatory body.

apoligies for a double post with varying degrees of similarity as I'm working off a work internet connection that is often temperamental, thought my first post didn't go through?.

dissagree not a GC horse think he was the best in the race by a country mile should of let him stride on think he would of settled better personally think they dissappointed the horse by taking a pull

was disappointed for flemenstar as would have loved to see the small man triumph.
but what a horse he would be at kempton.
looks tailor made to mop up a few king georges and maybe even a queen mother a la one man.

If I was Casey I'd go for the Ryanair, that Sprinter Sacre looks bullet proof, I'd love Flemenstar to walk all over that softy Sizing Europe, looks like Henry is running scared of Sprinter Sacre one of the weakest finishers in racing, can't believe the hype that surrounds that horse.

Sorry for diverting from Silvergreaser's new found positivity (NY Resolution perhaps).

Does anyone have any experience in having any in training with the 4??

Is there a major discrepancy in training fees or can anyone explain how Rothwell still has as many horses as he does have in training??

To give Shark a tiny bit of credit , fair pay for getting Western Leader to win a race again
