Surely deserves a mention after his triumph in Dubai to cap an epic year.
Justin Rose put it up to him with a course record and Rory displayed genuine class and brilliance to run him down.
I had expressed some doubts about his priorities and approach to the game but his results have shown my fears were groundless. Rory's game and mental strength are A1 and he seems fully in control of his career at all levels.
It is intriguing to see that he's changing from Titleist clubs to Nike ...looks a trifle peculiar but I trust that he knows what he's doing.

Birdied 14,15,16,17 and 18. He is a joy to watch playing golf, he is so naturally talented and it looks so easy for him. His swing is different class, he drives the ball brilliantly, his approach play is quality and his putting has impoved chunks. Also his course management (as shown on the last) and his mental strength has come on chunks too.

Class performance today . Wins when playing not particularly well , except spectacularly over the last 5 holes . The others must be wondering what the future holds as he is still only 23 .
A pure natural.Unlike most can bounce back from a poor toury/round. Don't think the new clubs/Nike deal will be a hinderance to him. Seems to be a very modest lad.
