Why cant this Gilmore chap, ( Frankfurt's way or Labours way 
), give the Aid monies meant for Uganda to the Irish Pensioners in order that they might buy coal, firewood etc., for the winter. He is now making a big deal of telling everyone that cares to listen, (RTE), that he is suspending aid to Uganda for the moment. There is none so blind as those whoe cant see.

It is will not see not "cant see" as it does not make sense using "cant".
Interesting you are able to use the statement regarding a member of the current government.I would have thought it would have been far more appropriate in the context of many members of your beloved Fianna Fail and the previous administration.My personal favourite would be the Dermot Ahern/Noel Dempsey "no bailout" double act!

Agreed,a personal favourite.Often found it staggering how far Dempsey made his way up the greasy pole.

We promised the sun moon and stars to the North in an attempt to bribe them,Joe Costello is enjoying himself in Vietnam eating all round him and promising more money we dont have,another genius promised the French of all people money to do up Oscar Wildes grave,its a famous graveyard let them do it up themselves.
We are skint yet our government are acting as if we are awash with money.
