I will going against you here Wonky. One of the poorest jockeys of a NH horse there is. Can't see a stride and looks like he will fall off at any stage.
By:
Horse is decent and likes ground though
By:
he wouldn't be my fav jockey either , but he gets the job done ..a smashing card there tomorrow , sadly i'm otherwise engaged so wont make it , lunch appointment , but for anyone heading that way it could be profitable just watching and taking notes....
By:
Wonker.....i told you my thoughts today before your horse ran not afterwards......as for bridgets pet......goodish horse in a decent race......has a recent run and will go on the ground whatever it is.......the negatives being its a stable that is not prolific.....the jockey is ordinary at best.......and its jumping is very haphazard.....it has a chance definitely but to me its quite likely to finish riderless tomorrow......

FEW I FANCY YOURS TO LOSE
THINK SPOT FINE WINSJETSON NB 245 COULD BE TOP CHASER THIS YEAR L BATCHELOR AFFAIR 320 EW EVERYTHING ZAIN 350 WESTERN LEADER 420 SAVER BOSTONS ANGEL ![]() DALE ST EW 450 ROBBIE KAYDEE EW NAP GOOD LUCK PUNTERS ![]() |
By:
if wonky misses his lunch appointment he could end up riderless also
![]() |
By:
My head is on the block tomorrow with Sweeney tunes
By:
You were only praised post race workrider, evn after tipping a loser. Your paranoid first line is amusing. Good luck with your bet tomorrow and enjoy your soup.
By:
Fair dues for putting up a racing thread WR as you say a good card.
Bobbybocala, yeah the stable isn,t prolific as he hasn,t a winner for a few months, maybe the Shropshire air might change that,pp are scared anyway. |
By:
all least we've got a racing topic for a change , i'll leave the jokes to decalec ,he seems to have taken that mantle over ...
By:
Everthing Zain has to be a lay tomorrow. Have layed it last twice and will be doing so again. Not going to be broke laying this horse.
Fancy a big priced one in the last race tomorrow and would be surprised if it didnt go close. |
By:
e.zain...seems it has questions to answer alright ...it could be one of those that keeps finding one to good everytime...we always seem to get at least one a yer...
By:
our victoria might take the beating in the opening mares chase....a former winner over points, bumper, hurdlesand a recent chase at navan...i will take her to finish ahead of the cooper horse our girl lucy.....goodluck with bridgets pet workrider but beginners chases dont tickle my fancy betting wise.....
By:
they dont normally tickle mine either tbh richters ..i just like this fellow....
By:
workrider you think Pique Sous will win?
By:
I,m intrigued by Mullins other one across the water WR,can,t remember him sending one before,pp swerving him.
Obvious fancies for me at Thurles, Our Girl Lucy 1.45 ew Think she,ll try to lead, hard to see her unplaced if the 8 go. Jetson 2.45 Gentle introduction last time.hurdle form looks better than any in this. gl |
By:
if he runs up to his hurdle form wr he should be bang there....ive just spotted an interesting runner in the novice hurdle at ludlow 2mora....ed de giles useful flat performer spas dancer....ran once over hurdles when pulled up last september.....since ran in the big handicap in galway and the cambridgeshire.....seemed to be crying out for a longer trip....has the ferguson horse to contend with but might be in the shakeup at 7/1
By:
spas dancer ...... is that a description of you at the nightclub richters??!!
![]() Only joking, before you go off on one! ![]() |
By:
not willing to take short odds about this fellow tbh sof , if he's going to win one he wont get a much easier race than tomorrows ... a huge punter working out of willies imo , so i'd be wary till he gets his money on...
By:
Ok my friend, thanks for the steer.
By:
lapsy were is mullins horse running across the water thanks...
By:
its at ludlow wr....interesting runner alrite....
By:
5.20 ludlow. Not sure what to make of it,might be worth keeping an eye on.
By:
it ran here last week i think , its a horse norn has a liking for....capable of winning this ...
By:
has emmett mullins had a winner since moving to england lads?
By:
i was at fontwell in sept 2011 he rode one there , gave it his all but to no avail i'm afraid....

WAS @CHELT PREVIEW WAS HAVING GREAT CRAIC WITH TONY MULLINS I SAID GIVE ME HORSE TO FOLLOW HE SAID SPLIT EAR WAS HORSE THAT HE LIKED IF HE STAYED SOUND , WON HIS BUMPER@20/1 AFTER 800 DAYS OFF
GOT SOME FANCY PRICES ON HERE . BUT HE SAID HE WOULD WIN THE BUMPER AT EASTER FAIRYHOUSE WITH GUS MCRAE JEEZ IT WAS UNLUCKIEST LOSER WAS WAITING ON IT FOR 5 GRAND WITH TWO OTHER WINNERS FOR SMALL MONEY . I BACKED IT EVER SINCE (MARLAY PARK/BOSTENS ANGEL ANOTHER 2 MY CANT NOT LET RUN W/O FEW £) . HAVE SAY TONY WAS ONE NICEST BLOKES I EVER SPOKE TO AND IT ENDED WITH THE LATE HURRICANE HIGGINS PULLING TONYS CRAVATE OUT AND SPILLING BOTH OUR DRINKS WITH TONY ASKING WHO IS THAT FECN W ANCHOR I NEVER LAUGHED AS MUCH APART FROM HIM SAYING COUSIN VINNIE WILL WIN2 CHAMPION HURDLES ![]() |
By:
Workrider & Norn, I agree with both of your selections in the beginners chases. Danny Mullins wasnt at his greatest on Bridgets Pet the last day and Robbie Power (the worst jockey around) rode Jetson like he wasn't off a yard at Gowran the last day. Both horses should win today barring jockey mishaps.
By:
DEFF BACKING SPLIT EAR AS WAS EYECATCHING TIL 2ND LAST BUT THINK WHISPERING WIND ALAN JONES HORSE COULD BE PUNTED IN THE SAME RACE . ROLL ON NOVEMBER GOING DOWN ROYAL /CHELT FRIDAY AND THEN HENNESSEY NEWBURY HOPEFULLY 5 FULL WEEKS W/O A BEER 3DONE

A thread about racing
![]() 2.45 Castle Wings E/W,should enjoy the step up in trip and at about 9/2- 5/1 should be a bet to nothing. 3.50 Everything Zain, young Cooper might wait until the last second to pounce to try taking away the "dodging it" option from the horse as it doesn't like being in front too long, very weak here this morning though. |

Really like Jetsons chances today at thurles
Other 2 I like today is Baltimour in the bumper, not much to beat Tims with AP looked interesting at Carlise & John Fergusons Bab Al Salam Should hopefully come on for his 3rd lto when giving the winner 10lb and only got beaten 2.5 lgths if the old memory is serving me right Gd luck all Thought the godolphin hoss last night might be worth following secret number either beat a bad bunch or has a a bit of class about him |
By:
i have backed it , but tbh its very skinny ...not a lot in the race it seems ...off to lunch , good luck all ....
