Wildman its' being days since the old codger has posted on here, he took a bad beat down on here last week with men weighting in from all sorts of angles to get a chunk of the wildman.

Last seen posting on the football forum and comparing himself to hitler Laugh so he was clearly reeling from last weeks onslaught.

I for one would welcome him back he's not the worst in the world and does come out with the odd humerous remark, i'm not sure if the rest of the forum would feel the same but i think most would.

another brilliant thread on the irish forum, why don't one of you not be the bigger man and not start a pointless thread goading the other into an arguement and then maybe, just maybe all this rubbish might stop.

Premier what's there to bet on tonight, this is the Irish betting forum one of it's biggest contributors has gone missing, rambling on about him being hitler and fighting on too many fronts. I'm just concerned about him and his fragile state of mind, i would like to make it clear i do not hold grudges. The man child that is richters who wildman would count as his Bulgaria in the axis is worried sick about his leader, it's a long day for him just watching this forum hoping Wildman comes back home.

Rocket,

Richters is a good egg who occasionaly gets caught on the wrong side, it's very harsh to label him Bulgaria.  I see him more as Vichy France.

Never Give Up is, perhaps, Russia.  Posseses little flair or imagination, he takes the mother of all beatings time after time but never disappears and provides constant, numbing, ceaseless distraction on the Eastern front.

Who do you see as the remaining Axis/Allied powers?

Not surprisingly Rocketfingers got the wrong war but Ozymandius is a big surprise.
Obviously neither of ye have heard of the SchlieffenPlan but my Germany reference was to the Great War
Bulgarias part in World War two was both opportunistic and disgraceful so surely that would be Never Give Ups rolle.

Welcome back, Adolf.

Have none of ye heard of the Great War?
The Germans feared a two fronted war and devised the Schleiffen Plan to counter this threat, the plan failed because they got bogged down in France and failed to beat the French.
They beat them in the Second World War only for the British to bail them out again.

YOu said you were like Germany and fought on too many front, that was WW II not I
Report wildmanfromborneo October 23, 2012 11:53 PM BST
Wrong it was the First World War,there was both a Western and Eastern front for the bulk of that war.You are a Mathematics graduate so understandable your lack of knowledge of history but Ozymandius is a Cambridge graduate so you would expect him to know.

Laugh

You mentioned that you were like Germany fighting on many fronts. I am not sure how we could have determined whether or not you were referencing WW1 or 2 based on that limited information.
Report wildmanfromborneo October 24, 2012 10:18 AM BST
I suppose you are right although to me the fear of the two fronted war by the Germans was a nineteenth century thing that came to pass in the Great War.
On a lighter note I would have a problem with being associated with the Germany of the second world war despite a grudging admiration for their soldiers but no problems with the Germans of the Great War,I still blame the vindictive Clemenceau for the second world war.

How can anyone have passed through the three levels of the education system and not have heard of the "Great War". That is 5th class standard in National School.
