I was hoping not to say. Don't wanna get in trouble. But clear as if u look into it
!! Thy are using same jocks all d time  one of thm has a brother who's a well known punter. I think his doing the training !!
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 7:13 PM BST
I'm confident I'm right. The trainer leading round in cork today didn't even have a runner there.
Report mitch leary October 21, 2012 8:00 PM BST
well theres no shame in naming.
Report CheltenhamRoar October 21, 2012 8:04 PM BST
initials?
Report Rocketfingers October 21, 2012 8:07 PM BST
You can have give his initials, they we can spend the evening guessing :)
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 8:12 PM BST
I bet ya someone from limerick could work it out!!!
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 8:16 PM BST
Allduckbutnodinner would be ideal to work it out. His got the know how
Report Know Won Nose October 21, 2012 8:18 PM BST
One of them has a beard.
Report winsamsoon October 21, 2012 8:18 PM BST
all he needed was the jockeys, 20 lenght improvement straight away
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 8:20 PM BST
No everyone knows the beard story. This different and bit more serious if correct. Can't be jock. Ok I fink m w is training d f horses. Could be miles miles out
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 8:53 PM BST
Trainer you are talking about is a very decent trainer.  Better than the guy you say is training them now. Reason he had a lean few years is because he had three or four top class horses all at once and they all retired/injured around the same time.  He has brought off some huge touches over the last 10 years.  Bigger punts than the Cork fella your talking about.  Be surprised if your right about this
Report bobbybocala October 21, 2012 8:57 PM BST
The DF he is talking about couldnt land a touch if he put his hand down the front of his trousers........I dont know whether he is right or wrong but DF couldnt train a goose to shiit......
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 8:59 PM BST
Couldn't disagree with u more. I no plenty of jockeys and trainers very personally and iv one yet to say his s good trainer. Not one. In fact one said he should not be left near an animal. But ya I could be wrong. Just suspensions before today then I saw him lead round the horse. Jock bookings v interesting don't u think...
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:00 PM BST
Bobby we must be talking about different people.  Fella im talking about landed loads of touches including one in a bumper 6 or 7 years ago.  Horse ran in beginners chase and then a hunters chase and then turned up in bumper a few months later and punted from 20/1+ into 7/4 and duly won. Plenty more like that
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:01 PM BST
Jumping we must be talking about different trainers
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 9:08 PM BST
Wer not. Tht horse was 9/2 and I questioned 8 yrs ago who trained it considering his cousin rode it who at the time was working in a very very notorious yard!!!!
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:11 PM BST
Initials of the notorious yard?
Report bobbybocala October 21, 2012 9:14 PM BST
Bigwillystyle......maybe we are talking about different people......but on another point and im fairly certain about this......it is not possible to run in a beginners chase and ever run in a bumper subsequently......id say you have that wrong.....
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 9:16 PM BST
No his right. I no the horse. P r was that horses initials
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 9:16 PM BST
Wpm
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:17 PM BST
Correct Jumping.  Bobby ran in three Beginners chases and Hunters.  Before the rules were changed
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:18 PM BST
I would be surprised Jumping if that is the case.  I dont know to be honest but would be surprised
Report Jumping October 21, 2012 9:20 PM BST
Well thrs defo something up now. Hope thr is not as I'm a racing patron for 30 years and already seen Irish racing decline enough over the last 10 yrs for a number of factors thn shananegans like this going on!!!
Report bobbybocala October 21, 2012 9:21 PM BST
Apologies if i am wrong......cant remember that ever happening.....what year was that?......
Report Bigwillystyle October 21, 2012 9:22 PM BST
Around 2003/2004. You could get handicapped over hurdles and Fences and then go back and win your bumper.
Report bobbybocala October 21, 2012 9:34 PM BST
Sorry bigwillystyle.......cant remember that happening......apologies again......

Jumping

This thread is a bit cryptic but if it is the df i think you are talking about I think your post of 19.13 is incorrect. He had a runner there today.
Report Princesse D'Anjou October 21, 2012 10:56 PM BST
Think I've worked out who DF is, thought I had MW too but if he didn't have a runner at Cork then I'm stumped.  Did find the bumper horse in question though - impressive work from the trainer in question.
Report dj876 October 21, 2012 11:02 PM BST
I think the MW had a runner in Cork, there seems to be very little evidence(even circumstantial)to back up this "theory" tho.
Op has been deleted?
Report Princesse D'Anjou October 21, 2012 11:04 PM BST
Cheers DJ - I'm back to who I thought it was Happy
Report Dan Chipowski October 21, 2012 11:14 PM BST
Why delete the OP and not the entire thread, ffs.
Report BJG October 22, 2012 12:04 AM BST
What a random thing to say given both trainers had a runner Crazy
Report Tolmi October 22, 2012 9:18 AM BST
I would be amazed if it were true.Logistically it would not make sense and while they might be some tenuous circumsantial evidence I think you are making too much of it altogether.
Report Allduckornodinner October 22, 2012 8:28 PM BST
I don't think a whole lot of DF as a trainer jumping but i'd say you are a bit off the mark here.
Report silvergreaser October 22, 2012 9:17 PM BST
welcome back duck?
Report Allduckornodinner October 22, 2012 10:06 PM BST
I didn't think I had gone anywhere silver. This place is largely a waste of time now alrite so I don't be on here much.
Report silvergreaser October 22, 2012 10:12 PM BST
I use to enjoy us agreeing to disagree, but I do get your drift its not really worth it when every thread usually turns into a wildman and his many enemies having a ball, but the rest of us are not really interested?
Report Allduckornodinner October 22, 2012 10:20 PM BST
It seems to have abated ever so slightly over the weekend silver but i'm sure another tranche of pointless threads aren't too far away. It's a pity because this is the most interesting time of the year racing wise as you can look back over the Flat with a view to next years Classic generation plus the re-emergence of all the decent jump horses about to happen in the next few weeks. There's good threads such as the JP one that don't get much traction while there could be another populated by four or five individuals sniping at each other at twelve o' clock on a saturday night. You'd wonder about some people!
Report silvergreaser October 22, 2012 10:27 PM BST
I'm no saint duck when it comes to posting under the influence, and believe me I've no guilt I quite enjoy it, everyman to himself, but I never go looking for someone to have a spat, I give an opinion, as I've said before not always what the sheep like to hear, but I'm all ears, and your opinion will always be respected.
