I'm confident I'm right. The trainer leading round in cork today didn't even have a runner there.

Trainer you are talking about is a very decent trainer.  Better than the guy you say is training them now. Reason he had a lean few years is because he had three or four top class horses all at once and they all retired/injured around the same time.  He has brought off some huge touches over the last 10 years.  Bigger punts than the Cork fella your talking about.  Be surprised if your right about this

The DF he is talking about couldnt land a touch if he put his hand down the front of his trousers........I dont know whether he is right or wrong but DF couldnt train a goose to shiit......

Couldn't disagree with u more. I no plenty of jockeys and trainers very personally and iv one yet to say his s good trainer. Not one. In fact one said he should not be left near an animal. But ya I could be wrong. Just suspensions before today then I saw him lead round the horse. Jock bookings v interesting don't u think...

Bobby we must be talking about different people.  Fella im talking about landed loads of touches including one in a bumper 6 or 7 years ago.  Horse ran in beginners chase and then a hunters chase and then turned up in bumper a few months later and punted from 20/1+ into 7/4 and duly won. Plenty more like that

Jumping we must be talking about different trainers

Wer not. Tht horse was 9/2 and I questioned 8 yrs ago who trained it considering his cousin rode it who at the time was working in a very very notorious yard!!!!

Initials of the notorious yard?
By:
bobbybocala
When: 21 Oct 12 21:14
Bigwillystyle......maybe we are talking about different people......but on another point and im fairly certain about this......it is not possible to run in a beginners chase and ever run in a bumper subsequently......id say you have that wrong.....

Correct Jumping.  Bobby ran in three Beginners chases and Hunters.  Before the rules were changed

By:

Around 2003/2004. You could get handicapped over hurdles and Fences and then go back and win your bumper.

This thread is a bit cryptic but if it is the df i think you are talking about I think your post of 19.13 is incorrect. He had a runner there today.

Think I've worked out who DF is, thought I had MW too but if he didn't have a runner at Cork then I'm stumped.  Did find the bumper horse in question though - impressive work from the trainer in question.

I think the MW had a runner in Cork, there seems to be very little evidence(even circumstantial)to back up this "theory" tho.
Op has been deleted?

What a random thing to say given both trainers had a runner Crazy

I would be amazed if it were true.Logistically it would not make sense and while they might be some tenuous circumsantial evidence I think you are making too much of it altogether.

I don't think a whole lot of DF as a trainer jumping but i'd say you are a bit off the mark here.

I didn't think I had gone anywhere silver. This place is largely a waste of time now alrite so I don't be on here much.

I use to enjoy us agreeing to disagree, but I do get your drift its not really worth it when every thread usually turns into a wildman and his many enemies having a ball, but the rest of us are not really interested?
By:

It seems to have abated ever so slightly over the weekend silver but i'm sure another tranche of pointless threads aren't too far away. It's a pity because this is the most interesting time of the year racing wise as you can look back over the Flat with a view to next years Classic generation plus the re-emergence of all the decent jump horses about to happen in the next few weeks. There's good threads such as the JP one that don't get much traction while there could be another populated by four or five individuals sniping at each other at twelve o' clock on a saturday night. You'd wonder about some people!

I'm no saint duck when it comes to posting under the influence, and believe me I've no guilt I quite enjoy it, everyman to himself, but I never go looking for someone to have a spat, I give an opinion, as I've said before not always what the sheep like to hear, but I'm all ears, and your opinion will always be respected.
