we can only guess at how these matters have occurred this year but I help thinking Frankie has been put in a difficult if not impossible position and effectively pushed out - and that it is largely down to him the arrangement appears to have ended relatively diplomatically with the lack of any biuttere words yet leaving both parties with some digfnlity.pushed out

It seems a shame that if Godolphin really wanted to promote Barcelona above him that this should have been done more openly and Frankie given the opportunity to leave earlier on his own terms. I suspect that whatever has been agreed  will remain contractually a secret, but I wish Frankie all the luck in winning many more Group 1's  - hopefully beating Barcelona and Godolphin in many instance!
