Dicksboro are 11/8 (Boyles) to beat Dunnamaggin in the first round of the Kilkenny Championship tomorrow.
It's a great bet, they should be 10/11-4/5ish imo.

Donaghmore/Ashbourne were available @ 5/2 during the week, as short as 15/8 now. I've backed O'Mahony's outright but sitting on the fence with this one.

the fly.....hard to call fly was really impressed with the bridge the way they beat longstone in the semi final.....the stone were fancied after knocking out burren...benny coulter playing really well for the bridge.....the bookies have this about right but its a county final and not much between these 2 teams....

Hard game to call thought Longstone gave up last day but Bridge opened then up well for the goals. Dont think they will get the same space Sunday. The league games were very tight - draw and 1pt win. Happy enough with my 3/1.

point would beat a lot of the teams in Div 1. I would say would be safe enough 7/8 as I think they could win by as much as they want. They will be full out and bosco short a few - hard to get a bet on that match. Good to see your club winning underage tournament this year down in Kilcoo. Like to see teams grow their own talent.

hughes in point or newry will offer betting on it.....aye there is good underage work being done in the club.....powers had betting on the mayo ifc final yday so they might price up that game but doubt if they will price the handicap....the 2 games are live on destination newry i think...

Gant they're short a forward or two, listening to lads in work today that seemed to be the ultimate difference on the day. Sean Kelly has left them in a good place, they should be winning Keegan Cups in the next few years. A bit surprised with Tones/S-town, the tones never say die. Ward pegged over 0-10 (six from frees), you simply cannot afford to give away frees anywhere in your own half or Ward will punish you. If O'Mahony's get this right and dont give away any frees they will beat them comfortably.
O'Mahony's are serious value @9/1 for Leinster. If they do beat Wolfe Tones, in my opinion they have a great chance of making a provincial final. Below is the draw for the Leinster Club SFC 2012/13. The Meath champions are down to play either the Longford reps or St. Annes of Wexford in a q/f, the winners of that will play Pats(Wicklow)/Eire Og(Carlow) v. Laois reps in a semi-final. Portlaoise, barring an upset in their county final they are the obvious threat. Offaly/Kildare/Dublin/Westmeath reps. are all on the opposite side of the draw.

Laverty is a good player. If they keep tabs on Benny they could do it? Can anyone knock Crossmaglen off their perch? What about the Galls? Isnt Down senior football one of the most competitive championships thought they should be doing better in Ulster.

no richters always same name. Laverty gets double marked most games so up to the other forwards - havent clicked yet as a unit but say our defence is strong. Fly we won 3 minor titles in a row (double 3 years ago) but its trying to integrate the young players into senior football and retain all the elder players - thats the issue. Think its a 50/50 game but mayobridge's championship record over the last 10 years makes them favs in the bookies. Say 2 teams plus b'ford and the united nations of burren are all capable of beating each other on their day. Cross and St Galls are strong at All Ireland levels so big ask as most clubs are aiming for their county title and anything extra a bonus!

Thought myself Mayobridge are favourites based on tradition.
That's what we have here in Meath, there are 7 or 8 decent teams all as good as each other on any given day. An advantage to the likes of Cross and St. Galls as you mentioned is they dont have the same level of competition within their counties at senior level. Therefore, they enter the provincials in much better shape than the champions from counties like Donegal and Derry. Particularly Donegal this season.
Alot can be said about the championship structures or the systems put in place for the leagues.
