I think it's better for Ireland that porterfield is gone, especially if the game is reduced. Stirling is striking the ball well.

Looks like Ireland will be going home without the Windies hitting a ball. The game has to restart in the next 15 minutes or it'll be abandoned and the Windies will go through to the Super 8s.

Porterfield did for Ireland on his own. Out on a NRR of -2.18 against the Windies -1.9
Porterfield with his double duck in his 2 games accounts for over 1/2 of Irelands total. Although they wouldn't have deserved it as it turned out with the West indies game washed out Ireland would have gone through only for the Captain's dismal showing |
