how in gods name do u think people could pay 5% comission......the game isnt that easy......or is it.....

i was with them before and i was lucky to get my money back.they were a dead loss.id say all the majors restricted them after a short time.i rem trying to get them to get me a monkey ew at 5s on something that was freely available at 5s with all the big firms.they failed.so i got out after that.its a great concept but hard to make a success out of it

thats the thing.....its a no goer......the only prixx that will use it ......are people with bets that nobody wants to lay.....

They end up doing what all agents do,keep the mugs bets lay off the shrewdies bets whilst availing of the information so garnered.

Thanks for your answers but if it was done properly and the customer was happy with the service would it be a runner?
Are there people out there who constantly get knocked backed and would use a firm to do their betting for 5%.?

maybe 2 or 3%, not 5.

as bobby says its a non runnner.great in theory but not in practice.the people you would need to get on board wont because most of them have tried the orig betbrokers and it was no good.in fact i can guarantee you wouldnt be able to get on the bets.if they could be got on the guy or agent would do it himself..

Have been in the business for about 10 years.
Will be something like this.
All clients monies will be in a one escrow account, I will be using my own funds for all transactions and then withdrawing funds from this account to cover the same bets.

would you be laying the bets yourself wholly or in part?are you confident you can get money on?ie if pp are going best price on something and if someone wants a grand ew for instance at 8s?

would ya ever get out of it irishbookie ya tool ya.....if ya were as u say u are in the business 10 years......ya would know its an impossibility......its the advances in technology that make getting bets on impossible......not possible.....

if people on here can vouch for u i'd give u some business,i bet in sterling so wouldnt want any conversion or bank charges

In the height of the celtic tiger in dublin it was a full time job getting ones own bets on with the choice of thousands of shops. How do you propose to do it in a recession where even a bet of €50 requires authorisation centrally.

I could not tell you one person that showed a net profit from dealing with them in the UK when they were trendy 8-10 years ago and the advent of them finished 1 former track layer/punter who got in over his head.

wildman.i am not part of no con,the way i get my bets on is through  2 comm agents who most of the time dont fill my order so i could do with another.

Fair enough but tread carefully,you don't know this character yet you are going to transfer funds to him,this nearly always ends in tears.
You are already using two agents this is also fraught with danger whilst things may be going alright now I can guarantee at some point soon you will encounter problems.
The two big Irish traders are skint and have done huge depredation and it's second time round for one of them.

Does Slaney Racing lay a bet? Anyone vouch for them?

What prices would someone get on at? I assume there is no chance of getting best price for much money?

the 2 agents i do business with in the uk ,1 is a personal friend the other has been going for the last 30 years ,yes before bf and i wont be giving out any numbers

I am assuming that the opening poster the is proprietor of SlaneyRacing or connected with the firm. If people have had positive experiences dealing with them, then that is a starting point in relation to this.
