Cavan just to win is the bet of the day lads. I'm not sure what they are now?? I backed them at 11/10 during the week.
As I mentioned on this already last week they beat Westmeath by 11 pts in a challenge, ok challenges are not something to go by when it comes to championship football but Westmeath were only without 2/3 players. Back Cavan on the handicap too!
Hopefully Meath and Wexford can put up a good show today, cant see us beating the Lillies but you never know. Tomas OConnor to score the first goal may be a good bet.
Up The Royal..

I've nothing to do with the SRFC Ultras, they are Ultras from a different club. I would love some of the lads on here that know me to confirm this for you gant.

Get on Cavan RF. Hard to see Fermanagh get over 10 points today without Big full forward Quigley, he was the top scorer in Division 4 this year. Breffni boys to win by 5pts plus.

I am from Kildare and you see this so called GAA Stars walking around the place like they own the World.
Typical from them as usual, all talk no Trousers. Rotten culture in Kildare GAA exposed once again. Found out against any side with a bit of hunger.

Just proves how s**t the Dub fans are...Won't travel to an away game and then that old saying "You only sing when you're winning" not a peep out of them till Dublin scored the goal. There about as useful as raising a teams moral as an ashtray on a bike is.

Ecstatic! That was just awesome.. Who seen that coming?
The Meath Senior football team have been as unpredictable as the Irish weather over the last number of years, the players are certainly there it was just a matter of them stepping up to the plate and being counted, by god they did that today. They say a bad league is a good championship eh? From 1-15 and to all the substitutes introduced were outstanding today, first to every ball. The intensity and tackling was outstanding.
However, nothing is won yet, a Leinster final to look forward to!
Gowan Wexford!

Thefly10.........That was unreal......The ref will be sick, some lads reckoned before the game he wears a kildare jersey underneath......A lad from Cavan text me and said you can't beat tradition.

We have the opposite problem in Louth, our lads hide in corners when they are out They are like St Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane full of denial. 'You play for Louth' No Not me it's my cousin you are mixing me up with''

All i can think of is Atha Cliath are overawed by the big occasion..Brogan is the key link he's the engine and if he's not scoring the whole machine shuts down

They have been poor enough but still could have and probably should have had another 2 goals, keeper did well on both shots but they should have been put away and there has been some awful wides

It's true to form innit that Dublin or a major team beaten the likes of Louth by forty or fifty points does no one any good especially players, fans and especially punters. They get carried away saying Dublin plus 10 are buying money..If Dublin hadn't of have a game until today. This been their first game i bet Dublin wouldn't have been -10 or whatever it was -5 would have been 10/11

I wouldn't be writing off Dublin yet they look like if they step up a gear they'll win it but i'd be looking to a different province for this years all Ireland.

What a bottler Molly is Crowd getting to him big time...If they manage even a draw i think they will be beat a point a man in a replay. They caught Dublin on an off day and they should have made them pay

Had a big bet on Wexford to score 13.5 pts, i thought 11/10 was a gift. This is fooking horrendous. I can see how they were beaten by Limerick last year, BOTTLERS.

Had wexford 22/1 to win 560..... Gutted, red card cost me as strange as it sounds, thats when wexford thought "we can actually win here" and the bottle went

Sorry for my rant on wexford, i just thought they had it at 22/1 i would've been going to Amsterdam in an hour, ive been to Enniscorthy and Kilmuckridge, nice places, i didnt mean what i said

Still cant believe Molloy let that ball float over his head for the 2nd goal that was shocking, no excuse for not being able to track a ball in the air

The mercurial Shane Dowling at 9/2 before Limerick played Antrim to be top scorer in the Hurling has softened the blow. Still a deuce looking for a point in 23 mins is hard to take. Would like to curse Brosnan but that manager chucked it last year for me also, some average players in that Wexford team, Dubs have to improve ten fold.

Heartbreaking for Wexford. They played great stuff in the opening half, definetly the better team but they let themselves down in the second half, some silly mistakes and fouling you cant afford to give away at this level and the All Ireland champions punished them. They have been very unlucky to bump into Dublin again. Adrian Flynn was outstanding, Brosnan surpisingly missed a couple of placed balls in vital stages of the game.
Bring on the Dubs. Cant wait.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend lads.

Listened to the Cavan/Fermanagh qualifier game on Northern Sound. Goals win games. Lucky with the handicap bet!
Wouldnt it be great if Kildare were to meet Cavan in Round 2 #SJ

Whatever it is about him he is just a great man to get inside the defense, down on goal.
The Bunsen Byrner!!
Personally my MOTM would be toss between Gillespie and Carroll. Carroll must have covered every blade of grass on Jones Rd. today. For a man thats only 21, making his first senior appearance in Croker he was simply outstanding. There is more to come from him, he could be the new Trevor. Gillespie made some fine fetches, he is still raw but he gets my vote marginally.
Who would you give MOTM to?

There will never be a new Trevor.........He is a fair lad to have as team physio. The new young lads were great......I'd say Banty let them go out and just play the game. Gillespie will get motm imo but Graham Reilly was excellent......Trappatoni should have brought him to Poland- probably the best Irish based soccer player.

Ye he would be as good as a selector on the sidelines.
They stepped up to the mark and thrived playing pure football. I reckon too, natural talent good old style Meath football. It won us All Irelands.
Who Reilly? I know he was a fair Rugby player aswell when he was in School in Drogheda.

I did not get a chance to watch the extended highlights on the night so only watched the Sligo v Galway game earlier this evening. I can't believe the price of Mayo, Sligo destroyed Galway, Galway got a handy number of frees in the first, most Sligo scores seem to come from open play. Mayo destroyed Leitrim, they're a decent team but it was Leitrim. In fairness Sligo +4 at even money seems generous to me, given that Sligo performance i may be biased but i think we're better than that.
