Bets will be allowed on both the match odds and the match handicap odds and Winning Margin markets only. No ht/ft markets will be accepted. Senior Inter-county will include all divisions of the hurling championship through to Nicky Rackard and Christy Ring competitions.
For the All Ireland Finals, extra bets on all available markets will be permitted.
Bets permitted Singles, doubles and up to trebles are allowed only. Prices must be from one firm. If anyone does 4 folds or upwards the 1st 3 will just be taken win or lose.
Betting points available Every week up to the All Ireland Final we have 5 points to bet with. We may use these 5 points in up to 3 bets. Minimum bet is 1 point, maximum bet is 5 points obviously.
If u miss a week u will be scored as -1 to keep it fair to those who make selections every week. DEDUCTIONS START THIS WEEK
An additional 5 points will be available for All Ireland Final Match days.
20 points will also be available for betting on the outcome of the All-Ireland Championship. 10 points must be used for the Gaelic and 10 points for the hurling championship. These 20 points can be used at any time and in any increments so you can spread your luck, bet early or bet late. They can even be used on All Ireland Final day but only on the outright market. I will keep a record of how many Championship points each person has available.
Also everyone will get 2 holidays to use as they see fit(if they are goin on hols or wont be able to post) Notice must be given in advance though to be fair to all
If anyone doesnt post for 4 weeks in a row they will be withdrawn from the comp to keep it fair to others as there was a lot who only posted once or twice last year and came back the last week to try to nick it
Closes for New Entries after the 4th weeks games so no complaints if ur too late

No ht/ft bets allowed which was always in the rules, i allowed them the first 2 weeks as i had nt seen them b4 the games had started and would have allowed them cuz i had nt seen them and cancelled em b4 the games, no point doin it after the games cuz that would nt be fair to my mind

I dont think it is necessary for the person running this little competition to use foul language, it does bring the suitability of said person into question, and it seems to show that the person attemting to run this competition may be out of their depth, and seems to admit to being unfamiliar with his own rules.........I find the post at 13.19 to be offensive, and will not post on this thread again, should there not be an acceptable apology from the competition organiser, Jay

BJG is the competition organiser, BJG settles all the scores, BJG chased up prizes off betfair, BJG gives up his time to run the comp. I think he is very suitable for it and does a great job to be totally honest.

Right lets do it bit by bit

There are the rules from the week 1 thread - ht/ft bets are never allowed as it can be very annoyin to find out the ht result in some of the more obscure games and that is the main reason
As for the language, that was said tongue in cheek, didnt realise there was any adult that could be so easily offended. The rules are there in black and white, i had to add the no ht/ft into the rules just for u! Everyone else was able to keep to them
As for being out of my depth i didnt seem anyone else volunteering to do it, u can continue in the comp if u want or nt, makes no difference to me.

Read the thread dan and then try to understand the query,(I wont be joining the circus but maybe you should as you seem familiar with circus actors)......... I merely sent in a query, and was the subject of abusive language reply, which I find unacceptable, at all times. When this sort of reply comes from the organiser its most disappointin. But I guess intelligent replies are a rarity on here, excepting a number of honest, fairminded posters on here.

From running the horse racing competition on here I know how annoying it can be when people misinterpret the rules. I also know how much work is involved in compiling leaderboards.
BJG does a great job organising and running this competition and everybody who posts on and who has read this forum over the last ten years knows he is one of the good guys who regularly posts well formed views and opinions. I can understand you might have been offended by the language in his reply to your query but i also think it was obviously very much tongue in cheek. the clue being the smiley.
Give the man a break.

I was hoping to see myself sailing up the table.
Let's hope BJG hasn't given up the ghost after that unnecessary intervention by Jay Trump.
