THE going for the  Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse was eased on Monday morning after overnight rain hit the track.


At total of 5.5mm of overnight rain ended plans to water the turf, which on Sunday had been described as good, and led to an easing of the going description to good, good to yielding in places. Further rain is anticipated through the day

Raptor at big prices on here and Ninetieth Minute

I'm edging towards Saddlers Storm and have had him in mind since the trainer was so keen on him at the Cheltenham preview night although that was with the hope of getting into the cross country race there. Tony Martin's had a winner already today so some confidence there with the form of the yard. I can't believe he's there and not trying. I think this one has a big race in him, either today or at Punchestown.
