Great spot kiddo.
Huge talent. Sees a pass, can dribble, score & has loads of heart. And still only 19. |
By:
Convinced me. Stuck 10e/w on him.
Good luck. |
By:
I notice Lads have cut him from 33's into 8's!
Palp email on the way perhaps. ![]() |
By:
Wexford look a great bet versus bottom club Mervue, I'd have Wexford at odds-on.
By:
had a few quid on a Shamrock Rovers clean sheet, Janssen gave me a heart attack
By:
The defenders appreciated his efforts.
By:
Toto cleaned up on Wexford
By:
Well we got the price, Horgan just didn't read the script.

By:
He got the assist for the 1st goal and was the most likely all night.
Great spot again. |
By:
Great few days for the Hoops, beat Bohs and Kilcoyne's dead

^ Very tasteful remark you fool.
By:
A vile remark.
By:
MJK that's very poor taste.
No place for those comments anywhere. |
By:
Why would you say that? And then to put a laughing smiley after it, what sort of fool are you?
By:
Surely it is obvious,MJK is a Shamrock Rovers supporter and the Kilcoynes sold out that club.
By:
So what, it doesn't excuse it
By:
You can`t stop MJK thinking and it would be hypocritical if he were to lament the passing of a sworn enemy of a host of football supporters.
It is a bit of black humour and ye shouldn`t be over sensitive. |
By:
MJK has shown himself up by laughing about the mans death, nothing to do with being over sensitive. It was not in the least humourous either. The man has family he has left behind and it is not nice to see some sad bitter football fan laughing at their loss.
By:
Would it be alright if he had no family.
When you say not humorous you mean not humorous to you. While there is personal sadness in any death if you don`t know them personally it is insincere to be feigning grief. |
By:
I never feigned grief, i had to google the man to see who he was. However it is wrong to laugh about his death and taking joy in it makes the person an odd individual.
You're in your usual arguementative mood so i'll leave the thread as i can't be arsed conversing with you. |
By:
mmm I seem to have struck a bad chord with some people. Wildman I appreciate your efforts to explain the situation but being in the Country we're in it goes above peoples' heads unless it was to do with Man Utd or Liverpool. I wouldn't usually express anything but sympathy when someone from the football world dies but in Kilcoyne's case I make an exception.
By:
Just a regular Rovers fan.
Were, are and always will be SCUM. |
By:
MJK......No need to play the hard done by real Irish soccer fan card........I'm sure most of us knew the story before we commented on your post......Widman is entitled to his opinion.
By:
Sadly Gant when it comes to Rovers none of you are impartial so get off your high horse. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Tallaght on friday Giant, or where you one of the many who didn't bother?
By:
as a rovers fan i for one will not be upset of the death of this horrible man who nearly killed our beloved club,if people dont know the full story they should not try and take the high ground on this matter,as a matter of interest giant what would your stance be if he did this to bohs?oh and id twigg for goal scorer against the forces of darkness
By:
I don't know how I'd react but a quarter of a century later I'd like to think I'd have moved on.
ONE LOUIS KILCOYNE, THERE'S ONLY ONE LOUIS KILCOYNE ............ ![]() |
By:
if that happened to bohs and you accepted it after that length of time id say your a part time fan because a true bohs fan would never forgive and forget
By:
We are used to strokes being pulled in Ireland but what Kilcoyne did was wrong in so many ways.Shamrock Rovers rented Glenmalure Park from the Jesuits for a nominal rent,Kilcoyne went to the Jesuits saying he had plans for a new stand and asked them for help they agreed and sold the ground to him for a nominal fee,he applied for planning permission the next day and got it in dubious circumstances.
The most amazing thing about this affair after showing such disloyalty he was later elected president of the F.A.I. |
By:
as you said wildmanfromborneo it could only happen in ireland, sad but true,
By:
It wouldn't surprise me if you never even set foot in the place huddys.
My guess is your no older than 30 which would make your memories vague at best. Life moves on. You've risen from the ashes of the debacle and landed on your feet. At least acknowledge and be grateful for the good that came of it. KRAM!!! ![]() |

By:
Nobody has asked on here for any Shamrock Rovers fan to mourn his death.
Nobody has asked on here for any Shamrock Rovers fan to be saddened by his death. However show and bit or decency and decorum and say nothing. |
By:
I am not a Shamrock Rovers fan although i noticed Workrider,Huddys and MJK are and as these are patently decent men i have a soft spot for Rovers.I was also struck by what the Spurs official said after the match in White Hart Lane when he said " we wouldn`t buy any of your players but we would love to have those fans"
Giant Strides understands the situation well as his post of 8.22 shows,he is a rival fan so his praising of Kilcoyne would show the depth of feeling against him. |

MJK 02 Apr 12 12:54
Great few days for the Hoops, beat Bohs and Kilcoyne's dead Decent men don't make posts like that, decent men don't defend posts like that. |
By:
in my opinion ^^
By:
In the saccharine world of Premier Fantasy no one would hold a grudge and we would all speak nicely of each other,a standard form of any rhetoric is to overstate your case so try asking a Jew what he thinks of Hitler.
By:
Hitler ordered the murder of loads of Jews. How many Shamrock Rovers fans did this Kilcoyne man order the murder off?? Bit of a difference.
Please don't be so stupid. |
By:
To be fair the man was hardly cold, sticking up a smiley face isn,t right at all, don,t know the full story here but feck me surely such hatred isn,t justified so soon after his death.
By:
Did you not read the whole post "standard form of any rhetoric is to overstate your case" so at least take it in context.
Pa Lapsy i thought it was an attempt at black humour although i must admit i never quite understand those cartoon faces. |
By:
don,t think its black humour at all wildman and while i won,t expect a blue sad face. thought the smiley (like premier) is very inappropiate.
