Sad The way things are going would not be a surprise to see Quevega turned over as well today.

Sad news about Scotsirish & Garde Champetre.

That ground on the chase course looked like a road imo.

An each way tickle on Shop Dj here with a bit more on the place part.

Sad for the connections of both horses, if that race was on tomorrow or Thursday it probably would not have been run, with no watering on that maze of a course. RIP.

Exactly McKenna totally agree with you.

Whatever about the merits of that mares race that's some achievement by horse and trainer to win it 4 years on the bounce.

Finally gets us on the scoreboard as well.

Well done lads. All winners mentioned bar the big winner Rock On Ruby.

Race 1) Cinders and Ashes 10/1 Always in the van. the surprise was that she was available at 12/1 up to about two out. I know as I had laid it earlier in the day so should have got out. Sad Gallileo's Choice (6/1f) was never mapped.

Race 2) Sprinter Sacre 8/11f A cakewalk as we all agreed.

Race 3) Alfie Sherrin 14/1 Came from behind to beat long time leader Fruity O'Rooney who Thommo tipped up to Pat Kenny this morning. Was the best steamer for this race on oddschecker when I was doing my placepot this morning. Delighted for young McLernon who has been short of winners this year. Quantativingeasing (11/2jf) was going backwards from the top of the hill.

Race 4) Rock On Ruby 11/1 Won unbelieveably easy to give Noel Fehily a much deserved turn in the limelight. It was a race nicholls badly wanted to win to complete the full set at Cheltenham. Hurricane Fly 4/6f was rowing along from before two out and plugged on for third.

Race 5) Balthazar King 11/2 Up there all the way and just outlasted the old man of the party A New Story. Scotsirish (10/3f) RIP

Race 6) Quevega 4/7f. Normal service resumed as she came there at the last for a comprehensive win.

Race 7) Hunt Ball 13/2f A third jolly of the day winning by eight lengths. Trained by K Burke associated with a great mare who was runner up to Quevega last year.
