I reckon the guy managed to redeem himself somewhat in his latter years
newmanix ..there was none of this mocking when it was revealed that mary lou had two big tumours on her @rse..
He will be remembered as a great son of Ireland. In his younger days he was a hothead and I am sure he will admit himself he didn't exactly quinch the flames of sectarian hatred that came after but he made more strides in the past 12 years to more than atone for that.
