come on guys...no thread.. Is no one interested in racing at Dundalk? whats going on? I live abroad and its the highlight of my betting week!! On 11/11 I had the opportunity to make my 2nd trip there (1st onein sept 09).. 6 bookies and a very wee crowd and no action at all in the ring was an eye opener for me..I thought the ring still set the prices but its a 100% exchange based market.. not surprising really..who wants 12/1 when its 24 on your iphone. Still I like getting on in the morning or night before if poss.
so tonight:
18:00 ok unfancied but Pyrenean music represents value at the moment 18:30 Duff should win but at that price looks like a lay for me 19:00 I think its all about Lyons pair. Mount Meru looks value and has decent form at this level on the surface but I fancy the Kernigal do go close upped in distance 19:30 Fancy Tell the wind. A filly refinding her form of last autumn. Toung tied for the 2nd time. A repeat of last weeks run over this extra dist should suffice. 20:00 Initially thought thet someone will beat Ashton Rose but couldn't find anyone. Backed her on 11/11 so small bet again at the prices (likley to frift on here it seems) 20:30 Boring but the one to beat really: Mutasaareb. Travelled beautifully last week and lightly raced. Seems half fancied. 21:00 Backed Captain Henry lto and fancy hin to be still well handicapped of 54. No great value in fairness but hopefull. 21:00 Denny I love you. You never let me down. 4 wins and 2 places. Big e/w at 4/1 pp last night. No getting stuck behing a wall pat pls
It so happens that the 3 bets i've had this eve are all being ridden by S Foley and trained by M Halford. Here's hoping they have a treble! Quinmaster is the main bet of the 3. Beaten less than 2 lgts on its last 2 runs so its for figures of 88 does not do it justice imo. From a rating of 100+ at one stage, they surely wouldn't be continuing with him unless they thought there was someting to be won at some stage. Interestingly, the tongue tie and CP are combined for the first time in ages (finished 2nd off 104 when last combined), and better still i think Queenie Keen is in the race to set a blistering pace for it to run at from the back. I could be completely wrong, but i've a few bob on at 16s, so hoping for the best. The other 2 i've done are Lord Kenmare and If Per chance.

also backed quinmaster and lord kenmare..backed fat finian in the nursery so hoping halford has a good night! the other one i backed is heroine chic, although the race last time was very weak, off 54 is more than fair, still unexposed, step up in trip after break and pipe opener.
first race is no bet for me, slade power could be very smart but does not hae great draw, whereas friday fever well backed on first starts with bad draws.. nice position in stall 3 tonight

Race 1) Slade Power 2.4 it could be a good night for Eddie Lynam
Race 2) Duff 3.3 Another Lynam jolly here.
Race 3) Banner Road 4.2 A 3rd jolly in a row for Lynam.
Race 4) Tell The Wind 4.2 Great to see young Hayes back in the K Prendergast fold.
Race 5) Ashton Rose 6 How much has Tracey Collins fooled the handicapper this summer!
Race 6) Mutasreb 5 Yet another LTO winner a jolly.
Race 7) The Frog Prince 4.4 Showed way better form last time compared to his 2009 runs.
Race 8) Denny Crane 2.66 A rake of jollys won last Friday. This one was unlucky not to have added to that list.

Quinmaster well and truely gone imo. When he couldn't be competitive there, there is little chance of picking up a race id say. Well done tom40 on the winner.

Lord Kenmare won a few here 2 years ago at around November time, really think i've a live one here, nowhere to go if he doesn't deliver tonight. It'll be class 5's at Wolverhampton
