FFS you cant fart in the street now in Scotland without it being described as sectarian!! Probably just a Buckfast fuelled row!

A. Ive never seen an apple bastard.

Young men fight young men call each other names there is nothing new in that, what is new is the weapon given to perceived underdogs that you scream sectarianism or racism when things ain`t going your way.It is only human nature to pick on an obvious physical trait when calling names and it is stupid to suggest otherwise.
Two Polish men were savagely murdered in Ballyfermot, stabbed with screwdrivers, some time back a dreadful crime yet some politicians were expressing grave concern that it could be a racist crime as if that would make it different.

Sure there was a DUP member( Rangers supporter strangely enough ) bombing a polish family last month in Antrim, he had been visited a month earlier by Peter Robinson after he had secretly bombed his own home. These people are just retarded and desperately need sedated.

As its related to the topic,"Shankill butchers" is on bbc4 at 9.00pm.
Report Vubiant November 7, 2011 11:36 PM GMT
Shankill butchers , eh ?
Worth recalling the IRA butchering 9 people in the fish shop on the Shankill as well as one of their own bombers in 1993 ?
The IRA held the rosetteas  champion master butchers in N Ir for many a year .
Report reb November 8, 2011 10:40 AM GMT
Indeed. There were brutal atrocities perpetrated by both sides in the conflict.

Hmmm discussion about sectairism, someone mentions a tv program and vubriant gets very touchy. hit a nerve?
Report pa lapsy November 8, 2011 11:20 AM GMT
A very sad programme and what people did to his fellow man because of a difference in beliefs was/is staggering, could only feel very sorry to all victims and their families, innocent people  just going about their business.
Vubiant,of course the IRA were as bad,i posted  that the programme was on to highlight the pure evil of sectarianism (albeit it was a one sided view).
They were rightly regarded as murdering thugs by the majority of their community who lived in fear of them.
Report zipifried November 8, 2011 1:46 PM GMT
The IRA would never have existed in the way they did if such barbarism against the Irish people in the north had never happened. The only way to stop the murdering was to fight back harder, very sad reality new generations will inevitably repeat.

" fighting back harder" as you put it zipidope didnt work in 30 years of trying, thats why the IRA surrendered, sorry called a ceasfire and switched solely to political means to try and further their cause.
Report zipifried November 9, 2011 1:34 PM GMT
you keep telling yourself that insideout...Thankfully British state barbarism was made transparent to the world to the point they could no longer get away with it and there was no longer a need for the IRA to exist in the way they were. Hopefully by the next generation that comes around we can get away with silly little orange bigots like yourself trying to keep alive hatred and division.

"Fighting back harder " did win, the British SCUM have gone from Belfast to Crossmaglen
Report itcanbedone November 9, 2011 3:34 PM GMT
And there was me thinking that 'winning' meant achieving a United Ireland.

If the objective was merely to remove British Troops, surely that could easily have been achieved a long time ago by simply laying down arms.  It's not as if the British Troops wanted to be there.

The aim i thought was to bring equality of opportunity. What others do not understand is the actual feelings and emotions of a life without equality in your own homeland.
Report Vubiant November 9, 2011 4:18 PM GMT

idiocy is failing to remember or state in your posts that the British army opened fire on civil rights marches in Derry and again on innocent men in ballymurphy before the P.I.R.A ever organized in the way they did. You do however point out that they blew up places such as Shankill as if it justified the Shankill Butchers actions.

You are correct itcanbedone, ofcourse the aim of the IRA/SF is a united Ireland, zipidope is just too thick to realise it.At least they are pursuing it by legitimate means now even though its still never going to happen.I dont know why zipidope keeps refering to me as some sort of Orangeman/Loyalist when im nothing of the sort,he just seems to get very frustrated when someone expresses a different viewpoint to his own narrowminded take on things.
Report zipifried November 9, 2011 5:16 PM GMT
you just keep fooling yourself with that insideout, there really is no hope for unionist bigots such as yourself.
Report insideinfo November 9, 2011 6:00 PM GMT
Now im a Unionist bigot!! LMFAO! You really cant stand anyone with a different viewpoint to yourself can you, thats more my interpretation of what a bigot really is! I would say that im in favour of Northern Ireland remaining part of the UK which in my opinion will be much more beneficial to the citizens of both Northern Ireland and the ROI in the long term.Economically being the most obvious of the many reasons.Cant see how that makes me a bigot though. Please find someone else to argue with the rest of the night.
Report zipifried November 9, 2011 6:32 PM GMT
If you think the IRA had no right to fight back against oppression or that it didn't make any difference then you are either a bigot or stupid

Celtic will next month face disciplinary action from UEFA over "illicit chanting" in the Europa League win over Rennes at Parkhead, European football's governing body have confirmed.

A spokesperson for UEFA confirmed that Celtic will on December 8 be called before the organisation's control and disciplinary body to face a charge of an incident of an unsporting nature, namely illicit chanting, during the 3-1 defeat of the French side on November 3.

Celtic had already confirmed they were "looking into the claims", which are believed to centre on songs about the IRA.
