~ THE HENNESSY ~ at Newbury 26th.Nov.

Hard to think too much about the Hennessy until after the Paddy Power meeting. Of the six none jumps off the  page as being ideal Hennessy types. Flat Out is a really interesting entry for the Paddy Power Chase. We did not see the best oh him last season with his fall in Leopardstown.

Agree re Flat out, he'd have gone close in the Arkle I'd have thought.

I am afraid lads Flat Out may be just too small for this Chase game.

The Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury later this month is on the radar for the winner and Nolan added:-

"We'll see how he comes out of this (Thurles Listed Chase 3rd November). That has been the plan but we'll also think about the John Durkan at Punchestown - a race he has won before.

"I think if everything goes right he could be a 10lb better horse than the highest rating he has achieved so far (163)."
