St Nick on lasix in the turf would interest me.

Aidan O'Brien says Breeders' Cup runners will probably run on medication at Churchill Downs.

Ryan Moore rides Sea Moon for his boss Sir Michael Stoute in the Turf, hence Julien Leparoux takes the ride for Ballydoyle on Await The Dawn

why

Because not alone did he pick the winner St Nicholas Abbey but he told us why so another well done neill d.
He was obviously bleeding or in pain in his previous races thats why he carried his head slightly to one side, the lasix was a godsend to him.He is now a horse to swerve in every way, doubt if he will ever win again and think he will be a flop at stud.

Not many entries Ruby?, well considering O'brien had 11 runners and the rest of the european contingent had only 15 runners between the whole lot of them puts things into perspective doesn't it?.

I didn't include Pachattack as this horse was sold back in July and had been trained by Graham Motion for the breeders cup to remain in training with him, he was listed as trained by Gerard Butler his former trainer that was just an illusion.

I also backed SYT in the Classic thoughSad, I know this breaks all the rules, but I actually like this fella for the Lockinge and the Prix D'Ispahan (spelling) next season, he travels so well in every single race and maybe the last furlong over 1m2f and above in Europe is just catching him. He is probably the strangest horse I have ever come accross tbh, but he runs to me like a staying miler.

I can't explain the Arc run, only that he never looked like winning and with ascot in mind he wasn't under max pressure. I'd equate the melbourne Cup run to a group 1 miler running well in the Ebor.

I almost feel apologetic for this oppinion, but I agree with AOB, they might still be learning about him.

SYT is a great looking horse .  I thought he might be brilliant  , but he has not performed to expectations  . His form in the Arc and the Breeders Cup is about the same level in my book .  I just wonder about the value of his Aussie form  , maybe it was not in world terms what it was cracked up to be .

The Aussie horses in the Melbourne Cup this year were so bad that there must be a question mark about the whole lot of them .  The Aussie sprinters are much better than the distance horses  , think they may follow the American pattern of breeding for speed rather than stamina .Also with the decline in jumping racing in OZ there is not a natural follow on for stamina bred horses any more if they dont really make the grade as flat horses .

Bart ****s in his interview for ATR suggested the horse might be homesick , maybe not too fanciful an idea  , particulalry given the weather we have had in general since SYT flew in . If I had been raised in OZ I dont think I would love being in Ireland last spring / summer , no matter how sweet the grass !
