He has beat All Aproved (useless) 2 lengths. He is the biggest lay of all time this Saturday. He comes from a long line of Ballydoyle aeroplanes. The best part of this thread is how much Tradefair's employers value his opinion. Billys 11/10 (only lads shorter at 10/11) with Corals 6/4. They obviously ask the tea lady (who's a pretty good judge by all accounts) what she thinks b4 they ask tradefair |

Funny now how all of a sudden you're price sensitive. Ser according to your post what does it matter what price any firm are laying once it loses, right? Just had a re-look at this maiden race.
He was 5l behind All Approved on the crest when they turn in. All Approved was stuck in at the rail which is the best place to be at that track in a small runner race. He went so wide around the turn he was near 4 horses wide and then when he was on a even keel if you look at his front legs, he was just pounding the ground which i mean grabbing it and looked very nimble. Quite big legs i feel so he should have grown up more and his head was perfect straight. Very seriously impressive  |

i took the 11/10 with hills cos it was the shop nearest to me. no difference really between 11/10 and 11/8, i just had a little more on

i think this is one of the worst r/posts in history ....anything could win it ....even bolgers if going in the ground ..in all my years watching racing i've never seen a horse lose its action at newmarket like this one did last time out ...it was all over the place but ran on really well near the finish ...the extra furlong sure to suit this fellow ..i liked the look of him on his debut at leop ...so maybe a little to place on him...

i remember Zip top's debut,backed off the boards,and won nicely,in the interview afterwards Bolger was comparing him to Teofilio and New Approach and said they'd take in the same races as the afore mentioned,well that was put to bed abruptly,but i do think he's a lot better than what he's shown so far so i wouldnt be at all surprised if he were to win tomorrow

thats the question lads ..will he go on it ...if he does then he has a big chance ..watching donny today it looked at if the ground was very soft in places ..he won his maiden on gd/yd at leop..

I don't think he can go on soft ground...He be a Group 1 Horse on Good proper fast ground. His pedigree is all American and these likely condition will not suit. He is deffo one for next year...could win a trial race for the 2000 Guineas(that may be the day to catch him)

just on that ruby...because he has an american pedigree doesn't mean they all dislike soft ground ...many american horses win on sloopy ground in america ..i know were you're coming from ...but i've changed my stance on that a little over the years...

I agree with you point workrider but the plain evidence was at the Curragh on his 2nd start where he drifted like a barge on bad ground and was pulled up.
WHY DOES BOLGER DO THIS, My belief is that he is better than Parish Hall!!!. Also forgot he be going to Godolphin , pity |

If you want a 'tilt' ground's wrong for Zip Top but I agree potential. Mad as it sounds big run I think from Talwar will love the ground & been out of sorts last 2 runs. I'm on e/w @ 27's.

Well done to Rubyisgodinthesaddle and neill d enjoy your winnings but hang on to them,don`t get carried away and back this fellow for the Derby.The race went exactly as we predicted but the Derby is a long way off and 7/2 is no price for a horse that might not be the stables first string.
