Very sorry to hear that Giant, I couldn't imagine how tough that must be.

Giant, were you looking after her? I remembered reading a post where a forumite was looking after his mum. I had to put my mum into a nursing home after a very bad stroke, and I tell you its heart breaking to watch a person who you love have a sh1te quality of life.

That wasn't me Newmanix. She was an independent woman who was out and about helping the neighbours the day she died. That's not to say she was in good health, but she fought against her many problems. Very much an inspiration to me.
I hope that situation improves for your own mother. I think we all would prefer to go with dignity. Thanks again lads. Appreciated. |
