Lumberg - I'm obviously biased as an organiser but I would say it was a great success. Around 45 showed up and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Damien McElroy was described to me afterwards as a 'National Treasure'.
The employers of the aforementioned odds compiler presented us with a cheque to help get the club off the ground. A very nice and generous gesture. And he certainly was not spared with the line of questioning! The next night most likely be the last Thursday of November. I'll post details well in advance but it will be a city centre location again. I know there were forumites there the last night so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |

Good stuff - sounds like a great success and also great to see that Boyles do things other than restrict punters to 1,65 E/W bets and lay 30k bets over the phone.
