Two more riders up tomorrow at Downpatrick for O'Grady - Davy Condon & BJG with A Mac riding for Arthur Moore & Colin Bowe in the same races.Seems to be happening a lot lately.

Jockey bookings catch the eye at Downpatrick tomorrow with jockey Andrew McNamara set to partner none of his employer Edward O’Grady’s horses.
McNamara, who has partnered 22 winners this season and was on the mark with a double at Ballinrobe yesterday, today said “myself and Mr O’Grady will not be exclusively committed to each other this season and I understand I’ll ride plenty for him over the winter.”

O’Grady runs Rum And Coke (to be ridden by Davy Condon), Earth Tremor (Barry Geraghty) and The Real Tyson (Paul Townend) while McNamara himself rides Claragh Native (for trainer Arthur Moore), King'sandqueen's (Colin Bowe) and Bachelor Lad (Colin McBratney).

Not sure the job warrants a retained jock anyway really.
It was posted on another thread that Slievedaragh's connections requested a change of jockey at Listowel (BJG) as they were unhappy about the ride it got in it's previous run,maybe a bull & cow developed out of that.
Andy has record for lasting longest as stable jock with edward...he has discarded alot oftop jocks over the years...didnt do davy any harm!!

The jockey received a fall from D's Trix at the sixth last flight in the Leugh Handicap Hurdle and was subsequently taken to Limerick Regional Hospital having suffered concussion.
Speaking today, McNamara said "I am feeling quite sore still and, while I'm not sure exactly when I'll return, I should know within a few days." T.Weekes.

He came off one at Naas last Saturday. Got a bang on his head off the horse. I believe he won't be out for too long.

Good patient ride there on Mississippi River,nice to see him on a winner.
Agreed AJ suited that Mississ River well good long legs sat him well won nice .......I think that type of rider suits a horse with high head carriage .......good ride well done backers and hope dinlemick was on .......
Looking forward to him riding CASH AND GO one of these days 
He did ok too Our Victoria his only ride yesterday at Fairyhouse. Just ran into a very well handicapped horse of Hourigan's Cloughmile.
Andy rides Catch Me today. His first ride for E O'Grady since August/September. Interesting that he is now owned by Simon Davis who also owns Slieveardagh, the horse who allegedly led to Andy losing the job as stable jockey.

Frees him up to ride for the likes of The Shark I suppose,gave Hidden Cyclone a nice educational ride today without being too hard on the horse.

Just to reiterate that I got it off a daily race meeting thread off here,I can't remember who originally posted it but didn't recall anybody rebuffing the story (about losing the job) at the time.
