Is he really that naïve to think that people are getting on overnight only your serious punter looks at racing the night before and is more likely to be successful than the recreational punter who bookmakers are clearly aiming their business at.
I can assure that bookmakers are not getting burnt on overnight betting and would suggest that its more of a marker for them for what’s hot rather than find out that some silly cashiers in shop land have laid the wrong one
Come on Jonathan you have been singing the praises of this innovation for months now but no ones getting on
it's is without question the biggest tool in bookmakers armoury at the minute. There is nothing worse than seeing something you fancy at an inflated price overnight because a) the price will not be there in the morning and b) bookmakers are already alerted to the fact it's wrongly price and given they're so sh1t at trading a book their overly cautious about the selection..

He asks for other firms to price up as if there wrong in not doing so. He wants to creat a more "robust" market overnight. It's a nice way of saying Spoilsports are a disgrace, everyone with half a clue has been restricted. The sooner we go back to SP all races overnight the better for punters with the exception of group races etc. Thsi has been nothing but a PR stunt from Spoilsports from the outset. they never intended to lay any bet of any sunstance.

it might have started as a PR stunt but it's now a trading tool. We all know that most of the odds compliers putting together Irish prices wouldn't price a coin flip, now they've realised put up the Evening Herald tissue and by the time any punter in size wants a bet the tenner punters will have told you what's right and wrong.
great idea
