The Curragh is a great racecourse and today saw the introduction of two brilliant two year olds with massive potential.John Oxx decided to run the latest son of Urban Sea in the listed Blenheim stakes and Born To Sea was breathtaking.I thought he was carrying some condition when i viewed him in the parade ring and also thought it was a monumental task for his debut so i couldnt wait to lay him,in the betting ring he was backed from 5/1 to 5/2,on the track he was spectacular. He ran green was behind a wall of horses and picked up like a good one and won going away,i would expect massive improvement in this fellow. He has far more pace than Sea The Stars, who was beaten first time out,and looks a Guineas horse to me. I thought we had our horse from the meeting until the mile maiden threw another spectacular performance. This time the OBrien second string, unusually unbacked,Imperial Monarch won with ease in the style of a real racehorse. Its hard to evaluate the strength of this maiden but on the basis that there is no such thing as a bad Curragh maiden i was really taken with this fellow,he is by Galileo out of the fine brood mare Ionian Sea. These are two real good two year olds that must be followed this year and on into next year,i can see both win classics.Born To Sea for the 2000 Guineas and Imperial Monarch for the staying classics.
There are so many of you , I can't quite remember .
I'm sure when you take your clozapine , you little friends in your head will be able to tell you which one it was

Azamata runs in the big sales race tomorrow in Fairyhouse,he was second to Imperial Monarch on the Curragh,i think he will frank the form even though he is going back a furlong.
