No idea though how you can say Cox was lazy yesterday, put a bit of life into us when he came on, chased down the ball a few times unlucky not to get it off that dodgy keeper at the death. Hunt as well i thought worked hard when he came on.

I honestly think people think this Irish football team are good for some reason, they ain't they're made up of a lot of championships standard players or prem squad players don't understand why people expect so much of very average players.

Tradefair if they got 40k+ for Slovakia they will get 50k for Armenia, although they'll probably boo them off. Armenia at a big price could be worth a shot in a few weeks time.

Oh god mate we were super poxed yesterday you could play that game 9 more times and we'd probably lose 8 and maybe all 9 of them, i thought Keane was very poor yesterday, there is very little speed in the team.

Brady is quality young lad, Coleman in time will be a very good full back, McCarthy will be a very good midfielder, Duffy is another at Everton until his accident was as good as prospect as Coleman imo but funny not getting his place on the U21 team maybe his accident has put him back a bit not sure stars his laon move to Scunthope this week so we'll see how he gets on. Worrying thing from watching the under 21's last week was how poor our defenders were.

I actually think we're a very poor team at present and don't know how we are where we are, so maybe it was my low levels of expectations and what i saw as a courageous performance from the players that is making me defend them, i honesty think people were expecting them to come out and play like Barce, did they not see the performance against Slovakia last friday? That was far worse imo. You know though if Armenia beat Macedonia, they'd be well worth a nibble against us.

Nothing to see here . Team well known to be mediocre performs mediocrely .
They've got nothing except effort and luck ...can't pass, can't keep possession , can't cross , can't do through balls . can't shoot .
If the basic skill and talent isn't there -not much any coach can do except defend in hope and pray for a break.

Rocket agree with the 'future' players you list but lets be honest they're probably too attack minded to get in a Trappatoni team. You could throw Wes Hoolahan in there as well. Bizarrely Ireland would probably be better suited to a finals scenario as every game would be played like an away fixture which suits Trap's tactics.
