He's snookered by Sir Henry imho . . Frankle in the mile, Midday and Twice Over in the 10f and he wont win no Arc...if he fires blanks it'll be move over Istabraq there's a new kid in town..get them pliers out

Soapp Bart Cummings has been training Group 1 Winners for over fifty years. He's well entitled to voice his opinion.

So you Think. while the jury is out on whether he is a superstar the idea that either Midday or Twice Over are superior to him is not born out. Midday is vunerable once she steps outside fillies races and Twice Over wasn't mapped in the Irish Champion stakes last season and I think he is not as good a horse this season as last. If So you Think met either of these I would have no doubt he would be well able for them.

Ballydoyle have failed every time they have tried to win the Cup and the Septimus year was comical.

My apologies to soapp as he is obviously referring to the win of SYT last year in the Cox Plate.

The horse has obviously done it, but Ballydoyle have yet to taste success down under.

No chance will SYT think beat them. I too am guilty of fallen into  "The greatest horse in living memory" arriving at Ballydoyle hype but i swear i thought and this is no joke "Ah they have bought a horse either to replace Yeats or Istabraq if he doesn't do anything at stud". Couldn't believe it they dropped him back to a mile 2 after watching him run in The Melbourne Cup. If he had settled a bit better he'd have definitely won it. Where are they going to put him at stud tho?. I'm not to sure too many people are convinced up here and they have fallen out of love with him down under thanks to Bart.

Aidan O'Brien has had 12 runners in the Champion Stakes - only 1 was aged 4 or older.

There is little or no chance that So You Think will run there next, it'll be Recital or Treasure Beach for Newmarket.

And it'll be the Arc next for So You Think - I really will be surprised if this has not been the target all along. I'll also be surprised if the Classic or the Turf at the Breeder's Cup is not on the agenda too.

He will be a shuttle stallion. Breedsrs in the southern hemisphere will lap him up for top dollars. I do wonder at times do any of you look at the bigger picture.

This is the same as Galileo running in the Breeders Cup Classic. He already had the CV to attract European breeders and they were throwing the dice that he could act on Dirt and attract US Breeders. So You Think will attract southern hemisphere breeders no problem but winning an Arc will make him a top stallion prospect in Europe too. A gamble well worth taking.

He will get all the best mares, especially from the southern hemisphere to begin with, it will be what he makes of it then, High Chap has only taken off lately, and even that is more of a down under phenomenon, I wonder if he might just lack the speed in his pedigree to be a real commercial success long term, but he is at the right place to get those good quick mares he needs.

The talk of taking on frankel and Seamie Heffernan saying he would beat Guineas horses in a gallop at home are all nice sound bytes.

Beautiful, although I think he is the best equipped in Europe along with the Botti horse to take on Frankel now, he hasn't a hope of even getting him of the bridle if Frankel settles, I'd still like to see it for the spectacle however, we might even sneak some 2/5 about Frankel.
