I know we've the plate today and the hurdle tomorrow, but does anyone think that when you look at a card like last nights in Galway, isn't it crazy that racedays like the John Durkan and Hattons Grace aren't shown on terrestrial television.

Just speaking in terms of quality.

Should an effort not be made to upgrade the quality of the Galway meeting, i know its a greyhound track, but could something be done?

Wouldn't mind seeing them add a Graded Novice Chase or something to the cards, with regards the handicap hurdle Neill there's not a lot else to offer - would rather a handicap hurdle like that than a 14 runner Maiden or a Bumper (though I'm sure others will disagree).

IMO, Galway is all about plots, mixed cards, open betting, joe soapp owners and craic.
The quality horses at this time of the year are out on grass.

In the winter unfortunately, racing audiences are way behind rugby soccer etc which gets the nod.
