Its bad but nothing in comparison to what damage the developers and politicians have done to the country.

no wonder the country is not a viable entity and has to be put on financial life-support .
It's tragic to behold -the widespread decline in personal morality and public spiritedness....a bitter price is being paid.
I wish I could some glimmer of hope but it's damned difficult.

I didn't see the program but until Irish people start informing on people who are robbing the system then nothing will change

I would say there is not one person in this country who doesn't know someone who is milking the system in one way or another

Historically the Irish dont like informers.The biggest fiddlers are the E.U. forcing us to accept welfare tourism.We send billions in childrens allowance to children not living in this state,our allowances are high because of the high cost of child care and cost of living but when these rates are paid to Eastern Europe it becomes a windfall and manifestly unfair on the other citizens of those countries.The children allowance they are receiving is far more than the average weekly wage.
One thing the volcanic ash told us was how massive the dole fraud was from Europeans flying in to collect dole.By E.U, dictat we are not allowed question these people at the airport,some are now sueing the state,to prevent this.This was all part of a grand plan of wealth redistribution from Western Europe to East.

its incredible when someone is caught time after time abusing the system and still walks free ..can you blame people from claiming ...fraud on a massive fraud let go ..try driving with a broken light on your car ..or not paying your t.v. licence....huge fine or time in the nick for sure ...claim a few grand off the welfare pay them both ..no problem....
