There was a thread in relation to the ride on the Horse Racing forum shortly after the race.

I posted this on there:

Absolutely disgraceful. Not only did he not move a muscle until some 'pretend' urging after the last, he actually yanked back on the reins numerous times when the horse was getting too close to the action up front.

Deserves a ban.

He is a horse that has let his connections down before,but that did look bad and i think you have a right to feel aggrieved.I thought the winner was lucky to collect with Ordinary Man not taking part and Gods County missing the last two hurdles.Gods County burst badly at Fairyhouse and i felt Russell was conscious of that in the finish,think he could be a false favourite next time out.

"Not off" a yard,he was actually hiding behind runners turning in and was very, very lucky not to be keelhauled by the Stewards.(No bet in the race)

The horse never travelled better than the race yesterday.  They will punt him the next day and he will be nowhere.  Good enough for them.

I had a small bet at 25's on Ordinary Man on here last night. Am convinced that he was not required last night . Was just going to sit and wait for his next run and hope he does the business then but but seeing that you have flagged it Biggywilly- I agree ,not busy last night.

i have seen a jockey riding for W J Burke in the past pick up a suspension for not trying his best.

Yes Paul Kristian was disgraceful.
