Have to fancy Shams myself Newman Kenna, Mulcahy and McFaul all big key players out for Pats and not like Shams who can replace like for near like with Oman for Sives.

Rocket Oman's out tonight suspended and Sives is still injured so I assume Pat Flynn'll be replacing Oman. Last 2 seasons has seen decent games between the two sides so I would be surprised if tonight isn't the same. I did Rovers -1 goal for value, though if we win 1-0 and play well I won't mind losing money. Hopefully that same female guard who was there last time we played there is doing the searches again tonight at the entrance

Ah Pat Flynn can do a job MJK, i thought he played well at centre back in the cup final. Looks like you're nearly looking forward more to going into the ground than the match, she'll never find it anyway MJK [;)]

0-0 very balanced game, great intensity much more intensity than you would see in the premiership match on Sky. Great to see the FAI not afraid to take on other sporting events and still get their crowd, excellent.

What was the crowd?............the Liverpool v Fulham was a cracker of a match and 7 goals to spice it up...........Well done to the FAI taking on the big boys.

You got to hand it to League of Ireland games. Had a bad morning on the tennis (got careless), but dug in hard on the remaining matches clawed it back slowly and steadily. Then live LOI, oh yes baby, back unders!!!! Long long day, but profitable.
I have to say it is very honest endeavour, more than English Premiership, and I respect the players and the fans for represnting and supporting local sports teams but jeez it's a real grind.
Went to a game in Harolds Cross nearly 20 years ago 0-0 and it was awful, then a few years after I recovered from that I went to a match in RDS.......0-0, absolutely brutal. Thinking I was unlucky I went to Tolka Park about 4 years ago. Guess the score.
Though I was at a match one Sunday after a stag thing, left with 15mins to go, 0-0, though it ended-up a 1-1 goalfest, which I missed. Serves me right

That 1-1 goalfest was in Sligo Showgrounds, a nice ground I must say. It was against Drogheda (one of the lads from there wanted to go). Anyone remember that game, must be in the record books
