Quiet day today so let's have everyones opinions, just thinking the other day myself about this and it has to be one of the one close to Dublin, the only thing it has going for some of them are they are close to Dublin, very little character or anything of note. I will choose Meath, Fairyhouse is the only thing thats in the county the gaelic team hardly play there they also want to play in Dublin. Meath people also just loud but not funny i.e. Hector

It's a close thing between Meath and Tipp but Tipperary(Nap) get it not for the county itself cos i like the rock of cashel and err...err.. but the people...Oooh what rogues they are there. Supporting Lowry and them known the S.P...Meath hast the Hill Of Tara, and the rock concerts in Slane...so they ok on that score.

Anna would agree but i think Tipp has some character, would put Laois and Offaly in that order behind Meath.

So far Meath has 3 votes for worst county in Ireland.

In terms of people Kerry, they are the biggest bunch of backwater, wierdos in the country.
Father Horan, Jackie Healy Rae, Paul Galvin, to name but a few.

Meath has gone downhill over the last few years.......we did take in a fair few dodgy lodgers to be fair.
The anonymous counties will escape a vote in this pole.

Gant if anything it's got a bit more of a cosmopolitan feel to it since some Dubs have moved out to it.

You`re a frightening idiot Rf.

Similar to hatama above, I don't think Longford is real. I have yet to meet a person from there, nor even seen a Longford registered car. Longford Town in the Eircom League must be from somewhere else too.
And them Flancare trucks - I've seen them heading everywhere bar in the direction Longford is supposed to be!

                     2. Lies that he had been to Royal Ascot
                     3. Posting more rubbish on one of my threads (Cheap dig after fony Fenton open the door)

Sad bas#ard.
I`m not even getting into that ridiculous accusation of aftertiming. You are wrong.
You also need to read my response to the "Ascot" thread you thick.
Where in it did I say I was at "Royal" Ascot!?
I was at a King George however, and you would be careful not to accuse me of lying. You my dear child have no idea of me or anything about my life apart from being a Bohs fan. .
I do knuw that you are a fooking muppet who claims to be a Sligo/GAA fan but is really just Rovers sh#t stirring scumbag.
Now fook off back to your tipping line and your Asian clients.

There are only 5/6 decent cities towns in Ireland.

Dublin - Bit of a kip yes, the thing is you have options to go and do things, racing, shopping, sports, nightlife, a decent city.

Limerick - I am from here and in truth it is going downhill. Great nightlife on rugby nights, these are becoming slacker!!! Will be back when the opera centre opens and the people stop going to retail parks to do their shopping. If the town planners all 57 of them!! got their brains in operation they would get free parking, more pedestrian streets and if the guards did their job and arrested people who are walking around the town high we may have a cleaner city which is a more viable city to visit. Good sports, horse racing, greyhound racing, GAA, competitive in both Hurling, lots of potential coming through and Football, adequate. Limerick are going back to the Markets Field which will make them a big club in terms of LOI again. As a city we are on the down but will be back.

Galway - Top drawer, nightlife is brill, town is clean, lovely city. Small enough place. Would stay away come the racing, too many tools acting the fool.

Cork - Always liked it, Sport is good, shopping good, nights out top notch. Bit rundown in places but an all in all nice city.

To answer the question, the whole of the midlands, rotten places, the likes of Offaly, Loais, Westmeath, Meath absolutely zero there, someone said it, towns full of dingy pubs. Throw Shannon in there as a town, a kip.

Dublin imo, simply a very uneducated city, embarrass the rest of the country when interviewed on the news etc. Murder capital of Europe last year I believe. Dilapidated city centre, really wish our capital city was nicer

has anyone even been there lately?? I'm not going to slag it off cos I have never been there myself. I just wonder why you never hear anyone talkin it about
