thinking of going to ascot this year has anyone been befor what is the best airport to fly into etc any help wll be welcome

I flew into Gatwick a few years back and it was a good distance away. Afaik Heathrow is closer.
If you type in code life2011 on the Ascot website you get half price grandstand tickets for tuesday and wednesday.I think if you use the code tnt you get about 30% off the ticket prices for the other days aswell.
Was over there last year and thinking of going again.We stayed in London and caught a direct train from Waterloo to Ascot.Train takes about 50 mins.5-10 minute walk to the entrance from Ascot train station.
