i'm looking to import results only from the SL or RP into excel, i only know the basics of Excel but would appreciate any help given. tia

It's difficult.
You could save the page as html, then open the html file in Excel.
For creating a database, you'd need to format it in csv or tab format.
You can manipulate text using things like perl or shell scripts if there are patterns in it.
I think you could probably buy the data. But if you doing something specific like 2yo races or Hunter Chases it might be worth doing it yourself.
You'd have to tell me what your final end-product would be, before I could help more.
