Any Limerick lads go to Ennis

It was a good start today alright. The two lads in midfield were very good today,they won plenty of ball and made themselves available for hand passes from the half back line. There was method to limericks play whereas clare seemed to have no plan. Limerick totally out muscled them in the conditions which were terrible. The backs played well, moloney at corner back was very good, the half back line were strong and we have o'mahoney to come back. His long range frees will be important as breen wasn't great on them today. The half forward line tried hard but didnt make much impression. Downes was promising, looked a threat and showed nice vision on a couple of occasions. Mulcahy is dangerous when presented with the right ball, has pace to burn. he won a penalty and got a good goal.  I dont think Hannon was on the bench. He is still very young and has the harty final coming up. They should go easy on him this year at least. All in all, promising start and plenty to work on.

Definitely mate, with Tommy O'Brien likely to come in somewhere in the forward line for Shaughs i would think. The thought of Hannon and Dowling in a few years. Geary may come back in to free up O'Mahoney to midfield, we actually have a fairly good squad in the making. Tommy O'Brien's younger brother is going to be some wing back or in the corner. Sean Tobin will be a player too and maybe O'Loughlin at full back or Richie Mac in time the future is bright. There are few more i am omitting, their is an amount of talent in the county at the moment.
