Ex Bohs players scoring everywhere tonight. How we didn`t make it 3 in a row last year I`ll never know!  Underestimate us at your peril now though.  |

Yeah the red card changed everything although in fairness it was probably the right call.Thought we were well on top and should have been ahead not sure how Quigley missed
Still plenty of positives from the match and the type of football we were playing till the red. Bad start for the bookies with all 5 favs winning in the Premier Division. |

punkha1 a bad mix up between the keeper and defender ...very unlucky imo ..the way the ball came back off the player...as you say dundalk held it together well till the end in all fairness ..i was impressed with your no 4 and 7..

just back from the brandywell and sligo were lucky to win based on our 2nd half performance - it will be a tough place to get 3 points for a lot of sides.

yes they are kriskin.. not sure how big their squad is ..

workrider - the squad is big enough but may not have the experience in depth as other clubs. I made my LOI debut at 19 yrs old but I had plenty of experience players around me at the time. The younger players Derry have are very good but they may have too many of these youngsters in the team at the same time. But u never know. Alan Hansen once stated "U win nothing with youngsters" How wrong was he.

very kriskin , i think kenny can look after youngsters ..if he gets the blend right i can see derry staying in the top half for a good while .. no one likes going to derry needing a win..

You`re in cloud cuckoo land if you think that Derry team can win the league. They were distinctly ordinary tonight before we were mugged by the ref.
Sligo will still finish ahead of you imo. |

Giant - as stated earlier by others this Derry team is a young squad and no one really knows their full potential. Stephen Kenny has them playing well

In fairness I was expecting them to be good tonight. They had the ball for the first 15/20 mins but did nothing with it and never threatened before the furore surrounding the red card. Even with 10 men in the 2nd half they were on the back foot for long periods.
Sligo are going through a bad patch and while it`s hard to see them winning the league now I still think they have the class to turn it around. By all means rub it in my face at the seasons end if the Candystripes are still ahead. |
