sorry mate can't help, but on my way home from the dogs Thursday night i thought i heard on the radio the Pittsburgh Steelers want to play a regular season game in Ireland, did i hear that right?
Report Roger De Bris January 29, 2011 12:54 PM GMT

Atmos was very disappointing in Wembley. College game on this year will be a good indication of how the stadium workds for American Football.

Rugby and soccer both big let downs in croker imo.

Would be great to have a proper NFL game. Must be a good chance of seeing the Steelers if they win next Sunday.
Report Tony Fenton January 29, 2011 1:17 PM GMT
why would that make any difference? Threw the 9ers and broncos at the British mugs in October couldnt see them doing anything different for us.

Dan Rooney, whose family own the franchise the Pittsburgh Steelers, is the current US Ambassador in Dublin and could bring his Super Bowl finalists to Ireland.

Vick would surely love to come over? Good opportunity for him to make contact with Ger Cavlin.

To the OP NFLUK had them on sale but now sold out might get a re-stock.
Tony the atmosphere was class in Wembley and would love to see the Steelers in the aviva tho it might be a bit small.
Report Roger De Bris January 31, 2011 7:48 PM GMT
cheers punkha, thinking they might have them in the UK and get them from there.

would be so much easier if WH Smith/Easons stocked the bas*****, it's like looking for a dinosaurs toenail nowadays..Cry

punkha you must have just woken up when the 2nd half started. Terrible match terrible atmosphere imo.

This is what happens when you have a stadium of mainly neutrals present.
