Could be a half decent renewal this year but with some of the leading fancies likely to miss out, there could be plenty of value to be had in Laddies betting. With the top two in the betting almost certain to miss the race, the 5/1 about Mikael D'Haguenet must be a steal. He's very likely to run accoring to Willie Mullins and this has to be his target if either the Arkle or RSA are to be on the cards. PP were going 5/2, with a run, before they took down their prices on this race yesterday and that would more likely be his price come the day, if not shorter.
Even away from Mikael, there must be plenty of value in the betting with possibly half the horses quoted unlikely to turn up on the day.

Heard or was in the post that MD might go for the
World hurdle if he gets chinned on Sunday to keep
the novice status for next year.

He runs in this race so decision will depend on his run two weeks on Sunday.

Miquel Dagenet has bounced. Anyone see the school on sunday after racing. I was on my way out when it was on in the twilight.

Quel Esprit has missed a few engagements.

Magnanimity at 7/1 is the e/w value.

soapp did you get a chance to have a look a sizzing europe in the parade ring on sunday ...?  if you did what did you think of him...

I didn't WR. I was in hospitality all day.

I backed Big Zeb in it at 8/11 but got it back on Gagewell Flyer.

The jackpot was a steal for anyone putting €40 plus into it. It paid a grand.
