I thought www.punchestown.com might have some information on the latest going or prospects of racing on Tuesday.
It says:
The Grade 1 John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown is one of the steeplechase highlights of the season. This 3mile 1 furlong contest attracts past, present and potential Gold Cup champions and contenders. The 2010 renewal of the race is one of the finest in years with the super yards of Mullins, Mead and Nicholls taking part it is not to be missed.
It appears from http://info.hri-racing.ie/entries%5CMicrosoft_Word__ONOR325.PDF that HRI is not yet aware of the last-minute change of distance from the traditional 2m 4f.
And who is this chap Mead? I thought first it might be a typo for Noel Meade, but as far as HRI is concerned he doesn't train any of the 12 acceptors.
What on earth is the point of a website with this sort of misinformation?
