Tuesday, 30 November 2010 16:51 Republic Of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni and FAI Chief Executive John Delaney will take pay cuts in further money-saving measures by the organisation.
It is believed they are voluntary reductions, with the news coming a week after the FAI let 12 staff go, including technical director Packie Bonner.
Trapattoni's current wage is estimated at €1.8million a year, while Delaney earns in excess of €400,000 per annum.
Speaking on RTÉ Radio 1's Mooney programme, Delaney stated that he will take a significantly greater cut that the five percent enforced on FAI employees.

If anyone is interesed in causing some mischief, ring up the FAI & ask them if it is true that Delaney has taken a 4.6% paycut [from 435k to 415k p/a].
