Titan De Sarti will win this on the bit by all accounts and will be a single figure price for the Triumph Hurdle after the race. I am lumping it on this machine at 15/8. Only bet for tomorrow.[:D]

Barrys Blog on ATR

On Thursday I schooled TITAN DE SARTI who goes for the Triumph Hurdle Trial and it was easy to see why people have been getting quite excited about him — including myself. Schooled very well. He’s won twice in France this year in April and June and looks the part.

Timeform

French form looks as important as British form here, with Sam Winner and Titan de Sarti both recruited from over the Channel and bringing tall reputations into this. The former's useful hurdling form is preferred to the latter's winning bumper efforts, while the penalised Architrave and Palawi appeal most of the rest.

AP

I start with Grandouet (12.50), who was disappointing at Wetherby but had won well in France before that. Hopefully there will be some improvement as he begins to settle in and I imagine we might hold him up a bit longer today. Barry Geraghty had the pick of the Henderson pair and he goes with Titan de Sarti. The most impressive of the previous winners is Architrave but even he needs to step up again here.

Titan de Sarti well thought of but a bit short for me. Sam Winner with saver on Grandouet for me.
