I was talking to a local postman he reckons that race course attendances will be down 50% racing and betting turnover on course down 80% after the budget on the 7th. I know it wont be that bad but it is going to be the must severe budget in the states history. What are yere thoughts in general on this??

Attendances at midweek meetings must be pathetic anyways. Can't go anymore due to work commitments Cry

Well I was talking to my milkman and he reckons crowds will stay much the same and that there is no need for hyperbole.

Wonder will the the horse and greyhound fund 40 million+ be affected or will it be given to H.R.I. to squander like they have done for the last few years.Devil

on the 7th of December, whether we like it or not, the sun will rise in the east and set in the west, ........... once we have food on the table on a roof over our heads, everything else is a bonus, imo...

agree with above, but surely the cash to pay for sky/atr, a good broadband connection and a healthy betfair balance must be included in the essential living requirements Laugh
