I dont even know the man...but i just got the feeling there was better canidates out there....Maybe im 100% wrong...but time will tell.

The joke is that he has THREE jobs. He gets close to 40k a year as a local councillor and he has an estate agency on the go.

You'd think in an area of near 15% unemployment they'd be able to get a person willing to do a full week's work for a full week's pay.

so you know nothing about the man, know nothing about his or his families past involvement in greyhound racing but feel there was someone better for the job

Never came across the man Satellite..and ive been going greyhound racing and coursing 35 years.

But i've come across alot of men whom for one reason or the other are better qualified then most but are always overlooked for these types of jobs...It's like it depends on who you know....eh!

Maybe he never came across you..............He is well known in greyhound circles in the midlands.

His brother is well known around Dublin,but that doesnt make him the best man for his job either.Anyone for a pint???

Longford and Mullingar....Yep...I'll ask Berkie when i see him, has he met him down south  or Basil if hes met him over west or Franjo if he met him up north...Maybe i should go to the midlands more. .. .alot off folk go to alot of meetings all over Ireland and know whats happening. Maybe staying in your own track helps more then people who travel all over the country....And i'll try not to lose any sleep if he hasn't heard of me.

The job is for Mullingar stadium and people who race there know who support it....locals.
