PUNCHESTOWN'S festival will be held in May for the first time since 2000 next year.
Due to Easter falling in late April, Punchestown's meeting has been moved back one week to take place from Tuesday, May 3 to Saturday, May 7.
This places the fixture six weeks after the Cheltenham Festival and three weeks after Aintree's John Smith's Grand National meeting.
This year Punchestown began just over four weeks after Cheltenham finished and ten days after Aintree, with Fairyhouse's Irish Grand National Easter festival falling in the same week as Aintree.
Fairyhouse's marathon is traditionally run on Easter Monday, which next year falls on April 25, with Aintree running from April 7-9.
