You did not know that ticket brokers operated online? Welcome to the internet my friend.
Report kavvie August 18, 2010 11:18 AM BST
didnt think they operated to such margins?..?..the question has to be asked where do they get these tickets and can they be traced etc by the gaa?or do they bother
Report squigs August 18, 2010 11:36 AM BST
Dependent on the tickets the GAA will trace them we gave a lad a couple of spare premium tickets and the idiot managed to give them to a tout and the GAA bought the tickets back off the tout and thus rang us asking why tickets ended up in the hands of touts and threatining to confiscate the tickets.

If its going to competing counties and clubs Im not sure what measures are in place to account for the tickets but I think there is some sort of measure used.

A very reputable company who charge the right price to those who are happy to pay. Nothing wrong with getting one of the best seats in the house for €300.

I've never understood why these companies are considered 'reputable' yet the touts on the street are considered to be the scum of the earth?

I like touts...commerce at its most pure. Supply and demand.
Report squigs August 18, 2010 10:44 PM BST
You won't be paying 300 squids a ticket come all Ireland final day I really would be suprised if its not closer to the 150 mark even from touts.
Report heroz August 18, 2010 11:42 PM BST
there'll be buckets of tickets for sale outside quinns before the match at face value there always is
Report MrGrimshaw August 19, 2010 12:37 AM BST
Is Quinns under the bridge, left out of Hill 16 ?
Report Dan Chipowski August 19, 2010 1:55 AM BST
Anyone paying those prices is a moron.
Report The Stinger August 19, 2010 9:38 AM BST
If it is a Dublin v Kildare final, you can be sure there will be people willing to pay €300 a ticket for the best seats in the house.

this business boomed during the celtic tiger, I was offed e500 for a rugby ticket before. Corporates or multinationals have no problem paying at these prices. You hardly expect the directors of a Japanese phamaceutical company to wait and haggle outside Quinns lookings for all Ireland ticket!!
Report TRADESPORT August 20, 2010 10:06 PM BST
Why in the name of god would the directors of a japanese pharmaceutical company be going to the all ireland final??? are you on the wacky baccy again?
