he gets a mention in todays SINDO. What caused him to end his partnership with Bolger? Did JSB sell him one too many bad Erins Isle horse?

There was a time that he would have a handful of runners at every meeting through the summer months.

i think he has still got a stake in some horses with bolger,joint owners if ya like , he had one runner recently with bolger...

bolger does not need any one anymore....he and family do what they like.and they do it well.


rule number 1, when your loaded........you answer too no  one, if you do, whats the point in being loaded??????

maybe a falling out, the only reason for sucess is repect and loyalty. you may ask mr.accoutant for that.

Harry Dobson still has a share in Gile na Greine & had a share in Cuis Ghaire with Bolger. So there was no falling out.
He was a great owner without whom I doubt Jim Bolger would even be going today.  All the horses he had were cheap or home bred(in the Jabar Abdullah mode). Lot of Nordicos in particular.
When Jim made the big move to buy dearer horses perhaps it didnt suit Harry. He used to be at all Curragh/leop meetings but I havnt seen him in a long time, Maybe he is too busy with his huge business interests.
