I don't think so. I think they were on sale up til last Wednesday. €50 for a two day ticket is as good as value as I've seen for a long time. Your best bet is to ring up the number that is on the JP McManus Pro-Am website.

Yo Sam, you can pay in at the gate, I've only just been on the phone to the office, no tickets myself only back from London this morning, I'm heading down in the morning to pay at the gate anyway. The lady on the phone said "I guarantee you'll get in." So I will be utterly seething if I dont.
Its going to be awesome.

Fair play to JP for putting this together. He gets a lot of slagging off (on here especially) from begrudgers who hadn't the brains, balls and intelligence to become as successful as he has. He is a lot better off doing this charity work than having the revenue take half of it. Judging by our governments track record the money he has given away would have been completely wasted if they had gotten their grubby mits on it.
Thatsurcoco i'm sure there will be someone willing to take a few bets. I've a shortlist of five drawn up myself to add a bit off interest walking round the course. Best of luck

Fallon is that is true about Tiger flying home then it is curtains for his open prospects imo. I knew that he was only landing at 06:00 this morning in Shannon after flying through the night but I thought he was staying for the duration of the Open as he always does. I guess the Irish fillies are too much of a temptation. On that topic I wonder if there are Irish girls with a tale to tell from previous pro/ams !!!!
Surely the Mighty Tiger couldnt have resisted the Celtic charms every year he was over here

Was down there yesterday. Best day ever, have never seen anything like the crowds following Tiger. 30,000 on the first tee watching Tiger with Harro on ten at the same time and he only got 5,000. The man is the closest thing to God we'll ever see, just spell binding stuff to see him! And he was very nice to everybody aswel despite the way he was portrayed by RTE!

I agree with ye there lads. I am out sick currently but I would love to have been at it. what a whos who of sports personalities and Actors and everyone made feel welcome. Tiger is minding his own business warming up after flying through the night when the RTE mumpties nearly stuck a microphone on top of his ball. That clown that was asking him the questions before and after wouldnt even know how to spell etiquette, not to mind show it
I emailed RTE about it last night

Well according to ChildOfMine2, Tiger is a Deity so I would expect him to deliver ethereal performances on a consistent basis. However, ChildOfMine2 seems to be incapable of ending a sentence with anything other than an exclamation mark, so it is probably safe to assume that he is prone to hyperbole.

Yesterday was easily one of the best days of my life! Surreal getting that close to the great man, followed him 1 through to 18, got seriously close at times, it was unreal.

Superb tournament - the best we're ever likely to see in the flesh. Great for the Dazzler - he, along with G-Mac & Shane Lowry, must have big chances at Loch Lomond later this week!!!!!

The 6th Staging of the event (and first since 2010)..... a total of €140,565,878 has been raised since 1990 (including a €40m Benevolent Fund established in 2015 in the absence of a Pro-Am that year) with all proceeds in their entirety going to beneficiaries. The tournament’s success stems from the genuine interest invested by all parties including golfers, volunteers, supporters, media, public, the European Tour and the organising committee. It has attracted as much support as ever as spectators anticipate the return of international golfing superstars and well known faces from the entertainment world to participate. Spectators can once again own the event’s unique ticket concept – in the form of a cap – which are now SOLD OUT !
