Chatting to a very high ranking member of central council today, he told me the GAA were split over these Vuvuzelas and allowing them into the ground. The GAA according to my mole are very worried about the lack of any atmosphere in the grounds for the last few years and some think this could really help the atmosphere. I told them i did not agree with them at all as they stopped/killed the singing chanting coming from the fans ala the world cup, he in turn said they don't have that problem unfortunately.

Just wondering what people think, would people like to see them in GAA grounds to create some sort of atmosphere? Or is it up to the players to produce a much better standard of gaelic football on show which will help the fans to get going/excited?

I would be the same Bio, i probably would not like it either but i can understand the argument from the GAA that they need to get rid of the morgue like atmosphere that are at grounds up and down the country.

maybe if every county didn't have a concrete mausoleum housing 50,000 erected by some visionary county chairman or other, we not be having half empty stadia.
And whilst I'm at it, it should have been within the wit of the govt and sporting organisations to agree that lansdowne could host gaa matches  and matches with less than 50,000 and if more than that were needed, we'd play in croker.
